ANALOG MICROWAVE LINK (BAND UP TO 23GHZ)

The OMB COMPACT LINK (up to 23GHz) is a professional microwave link, capable of carrying 1 video and 2 audio signals with 0.5-1W (depending on the model) power. This link has a split structure: the modulator, MOD 70, goes in two standard units of 19" and the transmission unit is placed in a sealed stainless steel outdoor box behind the dish antenna. This unit has 70MHz input and up to 23GHz output, depending on the model. The receiving unit (also with a split structure) is composed by a demodulator, DEM 70, that goes in two standard units of 19" and a receiver in a sealed stainless steel outdoor box. The receiving unit has up to 23GHz input and 70MHz output. This microwave link has monitoring FI output.

MOD 70

The MOD 70 is the modulator of a 70MHz modulation-demodulation TV system, designed to transmit 1 video and 2 audio signals in a microwave band (2, 7, 10 and 14GHz bands) with the Up and Down converters. The intermediate frequency of 70MHz is standard, as well as the two audio sub-carriers (7.02MHz and 7.5MHz). The 70MHz output signal goes with the power supply to operate in the frequency the transmission converter needs, in accordance with regulations of the country or particular needs in each case.

DEM 70

The DEM 70 is the demodulator of a 70MHz modulation-demodulation TV system, designed to transmit 1 video and 2 audio signals in a microwave band (2, 7, 10 and 14GHz bands) with the Up and Down converters.

DIGITAL MICROWAVE LINK - DML 150 DUPLEX LINK

The DML 150 DUPLEX in an innovative digital microwave link, developed thanks to OMB vast experience and technological knowledge. This is a truly compact and versatile digital microwave link with a very competitive price

DIGITAL PORTABLE UNIT

The OMB DIGITAL PORTABLE LINK is designed for those TV stations transmitting events with high quality. This equipment can broadcast 20-60Km, and the number of programs sent through the link can increase because an ASI input is included. The OMB digital portable link is composed by:
- A digital modulator with analog audio and video inputs, a digital video input and an ASI input. It also includes an MPEG2 coder (H.264 optional).
- A stainless steel outdoor box with forced air cooling, containing a synthesized conversion unit to turn the IF input signal into 2.1-2.7GHz, 3.4-3.6GHz or 5.6-5.9GHz band, with a mobility band of 30MHz.
- A stainless steel outdoor box containing a selective filter with 30MHz bandwidth and a reception unit to turn the 2.1-2.7GHz, 3.4-3.6GHz or 5.6-5.9GHz into IF.
- A receiver with IF input including an MPEG2 decoder (H.264 optional) and analog audio/video, SDI and ASI outputs.
- Reception and transmission antennas to be chosen among the different paths to cover: 60cm of diameter dish antenna, 2GHz directive antenna or 2GHz omnidirectional antenna.

DIGITAL MOBILE UNIT WITH RE-EMITTER

The OMB digital mobile unit system consists of the following elements:

Digital Mobile Unit Modulator
Digital Mobile Unit Transmission Head
Digital Mobile Unit Re-emitter
Digital Mobile Unit Reception Head
Digital Mobile Unit Receiver
Reception and Transmission Antennas

DVB-T MULTICHANNEL TRANSPORT SYSTEM

OMB has developed this system to transport the digital channels of the TV band (the reserved ones for nationwide broadcasting) from a place with perfect reception up to the place where the cable network head-ends are, so that these operators can include the new Digital Terrestrial Television channels in the services offered to their users.
A point-to-point microwave link (within 2.5GHz band) will be used to transport those channels from one place to the other. All this process is done without damaging the original spectrum, by using very selective filters and high-linearity amplifiers. The cable operator will have between 16 and 20 TV channels, just as radio programs and other services included in the broadcasted signal.
